Chlamydomonas dataset paper and chlororibosomes

Our Chlamydomonas large-scale dataset is published as a Ressource in Molecular Cell and made it to the cover (https://www.cell.com/molecular-cell/fulltext/S1097-2765(25)00970-0)!We also released our work on Chlamydomonas chloroplast ribosomes, using the Chlamy dataset for cryo-ET investigations! (https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.64898/2026.02.07.704542v1).
Plant mitochondrial ribosome published

Our work on plant mitochondrial translation is now out in Nature Communications (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-025-65864-z) . Using a combination of high-resolution cryo-EM, RNA mass-spec and nanopore sequencing, we identified 19 rRNA base modifications. Along that, we uncovered a plant-specific mechanism small subunit assembly involving RsgA that prevents premature translation.
Young Swiss Tomo meeting in Bern

Florent, Elda Bauda, Zanetta Kechagia, and Leonie Anton organized the first edition of the Young Swiss Tomo meeting in Bern on October 17th. The event successfully gathered researchers from all over Switzerland to discuss their work using tomography.
